Russia moved up 30 places in the ranking of Doing Business

Russia ranked 62 th in the ranking of the World Bank’s Doing Business in 2015, rising to 30 positions. About this “Lente.ru” the reported in the Agency for Strategic Initiatives (ASI).

At the same time, the rating on indicators deteriorated “Connecting to the electricity system” (down 26 places from 117th to 143rd), “Resolving Insolvency” (down 10 places from 55th to 65th) and ” Enforcing Contracts “(Russia fell by 4 lines from the 10th to the 14th).

ASI director general Andrey Nikitin told “Lentoy.ru” said investors positively assess Russia compared to states with similar economic situation. So among the BRICS countries of Russia ranked second after South Africa on ease of doing business, a position in the CIS is also strong. “It is important to remember that we started with the 124 th place. In Doing Business 2014 Russian Federation took 92 th place, rising c 124th. The most favorable countries for doing business in the past year were Singapore, Hong Kong, New Zealand, the USA and Denmark.
