Western politicians demand from the EU and the United States, members of the boards of directors and other management bodies of the Russian companies, to leave their posts

Foreign executives working in Russian companies, including state-owned, the home asked to give up work in Russia. While publicly stated this was a former head of Henri Proglio EdF, which demanded Paris renounce their membership in the board of directors of the two structures, “Rosatom” for the post of head of the board of the French group Thales. According to “Izvestia”, the recommendations, and sometimes leave the requirements of their positions on the boards of directors and the board of Russian companies received several top managers from abroad.

- A member of the Supervisory Board of Sberbank directly advised to leave his post at the State Bank. The recommendation came from a member of parliament of the State. He, incidentally, refused and continue to work - says a source in the Savings Bank.

With the same, please refer to other top managers of companies with state participation.

- Argument is that in the conditions of sanctions, which entered the EU and other countries against Russia, working here, we are helping the alleged “regime, which is waging a war in the Ukraine”, - says one of the western top managers. According to him, 99% of foreigners refused departure from Russian companies.

Publicly announced such a refusal is only Henri Proglio. Proglio told the French Le Monde, he refused the post of chairman of the board of directors of Thales. His nominated Dassault Aviation (owns 25.3% stake in the defense group), but against the Minister of Economy of France Emmanuel Macron. Last she demanded that Henri Proglio refused seats on the boards of foreign SPV-company of “Rosatom” - Finnish Fennovoima (building a nuclear power plant “Hanhikivi-1″ from the State Corporation 34%) and Turkish Akkuyu Nuclear (building a nuclear power plant of the same name). Emmanuel Macron reproached Henri Proglio in “commercial cooperation” with the players of military and civilian nuclear sector in Russia. Himself Proglio said that there is no conflict of interest, as well as to support the further development of relations with Russia.

- No one did that Proglio. I know a lot of French businessmen, who believe that the present government of France runs contrary to the national interests of the country and the French business. They do not share the anti-Russian sentiments and consider that knowingly invest in Russia 20 years, then to some political nouveaux riches it all breaks down and a line through the years of their work, - said the deputy chairman of the Federation Council Committee on International Affairs Andrei Klimov.

According to Klimov, anti-Russian sentiments - this position is not the whole of France, and a French Socialist, came to power.
