Diebold dismissed the leadership of the Russian office on suspicion of bribery

Five of the top managers of the Russian subsidiary of the American supplier of ATMs Diebold Inc. were dismissed as part of an internal investigation of information on possible corrupt practices “daughter”, said on Thursday, company CEO Tom Svidarski (Tom Swidarski) in an interview with Dow Jones.
Svidarski clarified that, inter alia, dismissed the head offices, sales manager, chief accountant and manager, responsible for relations with the Russian distributor. According to RIA Novosti, a source close to the company, in particular, have been dismissed head of Sergei Tales and Chief Financial Officer Alexander Soroko.

In Russia, according to the company, established more than 16,000 ATMs Diebold, which roughly corresponds to one third of the market. The company is considered one of the three world leaders in manufacturing these devices. In Russia, according to media reports, among the major buyers were Citibank, Bank of Moscow, Master-Bank, Gazprombank, MDM Bank, and Sberbank.
