China to build railways in Russia between Vladivostok and Khabarovsk

China intends to invest $ 10 billion in construction of high-speed railway between Vladivostok and Khabarovsk.

Russia-China project is scheduled until 2030, and the speed of trains on the new road is to make 250-350 miles per hour. It is planned that in early December, the representative of the Ministry of Railways of China will meet with the leadership of Russia to discuss the more detailed parts of the program.

Experts say that such cooperation will contribute to raising the image of Chinese products among Russian citizens.

Chinese media say that Russia has chosen China as an investor, because the cost of building high speed railways in China is relatively low, below 20% compared with the cost in other countries.
